Connect Viber to your AI assistant via E-Chat

Overview

Connect Viber messaging to your AI assistant through the E-Chat platform. Customers who message your Viber bot will receive AI-powered responses.

Prerequisites

  • An E-Chat account (e-chat.co)
  • A Viber business account configured in E-Chat

Setup

Step 1: Set Up E-Chat

  1. Create an E-Chat account at e-chat.co
  2. Connect your Viber business account to E-Chat
  3. Note your E-Chat API credentials

Step 2: Connect to Happ

  1. Go to Integrations > Add Integration > Viber (E-Chat)
  2. Enter your E-Chat credentials
  3. Assign an AI assistant
  4. Activate the integration

Step 3: Test

  1. Find your Viber bot and send a message
  2. Your AI assistant should respond automatically

  • Text messages — Full text conversation support
  • Images — Receive image messages from customers
  • Voice messages — Limited voice message support
  • Stickers — Basic sticker support
  • Conversation history — All Viber conversations visible in the Chat Dashboard

Toggle AI on/off for any Viber conversation. See AI Control & Human Handoff for details.

Limitations

  • Voice message support is limited compared to other channels
  • No group chat support

Tips

  • Set up a welcome message in your Viber bot settings
  • Monitor the E-Chat dashboard for connection status
  • Configure your assistant's prompt to handle Viber-specific interactions
