Telephony Providers

Overview

To use the voice assistant, you need a SIP-compatible phone number from one of the supported telephony providers. Each provider offers SIP credentials that connect your phone number to Happ.

Supported Providers

Binotel

Binotel is a Ukrainian VoIP telephony provider popular for business phone systems.

Setup:

1. Create a Binotel account
2. Obtain SIP credentials (login, password, server URL) for your phone number
3. Add the phone in Happ: Phones > Add Phone (see Phone & SIP Setup)
4. Add the integration: Integrations > Add Integration > Binotel
5. Enter your Binotel credentials and activate

Ringostat

Ringostat is a call tracking and analytics platform with built-in telephony.

Setup:

1. Create a Ringostat account
2. Set up a SIP trunk for your phone number
3. Add the phone in Happ (see Phone & SIP Setup)
4. Add the integration: Integrations > Add Integration > Ringostat
5. Enter your Ringostat API credentials and activate

Phonet

Phonet provides cloud telephony services for businesses.

Setup:

1. Create a Phonet account
2. Provision a phone number and get SIP credentials
3. Add the phone in Happ (see Phone & SIP Setup)
4. Add the integration: Integrations > Add Integration > Phonet
5. Enter your Phonet credentials and activate

Unitalk

Unitalk is a telephony platform for contact centers and business communication.

Setup:

1. Create a Unitalk account
2. Get SIP trunk credentials
3. Add the phone in Happ (see Phone & SIP Setup)
4. Add the integration: Integrations > Add Integration > Unitalk
5. Configure call forwarding and activate

ElevenLabs (Premium Voices)

While not a telephony provider, ElevenLabs provides high-quality text-to-speech voices used by the voice assistant.

Setup:

1. Create an ElevenLabs account at elevenlabs.io
2. Copy your API key from the dashboard
3. In Happ, go to Integrations > Add Integration > ElevenLabs
4. Enter your API key
5. ElevenLabs voices become available in your assistant's voice settings

Features:

• Natural-sounding voices
• Multiple languages and accents
• Voice cloning capabilities

Without ElevenLabs, your voice assistant uses one of the 30 built-in voices included with Happ.
